Langley Federal Credit Union Kicks Off Heroes Campaign
NEWPORT NEWS, VA — Langley Federal Credit Union presented the American Red Cross Hampton Roads Chapter with a check in the amount of $1,460 to kick off their Heroes Campaign. The money donated allows the Red Cross to continue offering aid to those who have been displaced by natural disasters or fires in their homes in Hampton Roads.
LFCU staff helped raise a portion of the monies by having a "dress down" day. The Credit Union then matched those funds. In addition, 'Heroes' canisters were placed in branches raising another $113 from member contributions.
