Langley Tax Services Employee Awarded Enrolled Agent of the Year
NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Barbara Taylor, Tax Office Manager of Langley Federal Credit
Union's wholly-owned subsidiary, Langley Financial Services, was awarded the
coveted Enrolled Agent of the Year award. The award was presented by the
Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents during their annual conference.
"Langley is extremely proud of Barbara," said LFCU CEO/President Jean Yokum.
"This is the highest honor awarded to Enrolled Agents. It speaks volumes to her
expertise in tax preparation."
Taylor has served on the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents' Board of Directors
of the Hampton Roads Chapter and as President from 2003-2007. She has managed
the Langley Tax Office for the past four years.
The National Association of Enrolled Agents represents more than 10,000 Enrolled
Agents and helps members maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, and
professionalism in all areas of taxation, so they can most effectively represent
the tax needs of their clients.
