LFCU partners to send WWII veterans to D.C.
Langley Federal Credit Union announced the kickoff of a fundraiser in support of the Honor Flight Network. Langley's goal is to raise enough money, at least $20,000, to sponsor an entire Honor Flight trip of three busloads of Hampton Roads WWII veterans to see the WWII Monument and other memorial sites in Washington, D.C.

Helping Habitat For Humanity
LFCU recently held a "Volunteer Day" to help construct the Habitat for Humanity home for Pearlean Brooks and her family in Hampton.
Despite sweltering heat, ten LFCU staff members painted and performed other odd jobs to help build the Brooks' home. The house is located at 626 Teach Street. It's the third Habitat project sponsored by Langley FCU in conjunction with Fox 43.
