Not everyone needs help at the pump, but you can still help other members get the most of the $1 Million Gas Back Rewards. When you opt-in, choose to Pay it Forward and you'll help other members in need to maximize their cash back reward. It's a simple act of kindness that can go a long way - it's members helping members.
If earning a piece of the $1,000,000 helps you, choose Earn Cash Back. At the start of each new month, you'll see your rewards applied to your savings until we reach $1,000,000.

The $1 Million Gas Back Rewards is open to current and new members who have a Langley debit card. If you need a checking account, you can open one here. If you already have a debit card, you will receive an email to opt in to the program. It is important that we have your current email address on file. Log into Online Banking to update the email address on your account.
Once you receive the activation email, you will choose to either "Pay It Forward" or "Earn Cash Back". After you complete the activation form, use your Langley debit card for any gas purchases during the length of the promotion. In the first week of each month, we'll deposit your earnings into your Langley savings account if you choose "Earn Cash Back".
The $1 Million Gas Back Rewards will start on September 1, 2022 and continue until we reach $1,000,000 in cash back rewards. Members must opt-in prior to the end of the promotion to participate.
In order to opt into the promotion, members can only access the form through a unique link. This link will be sent to the account holder's primary email address.
The $1 Million Gas Back Rewards allows members to either earn cash back on their gas purchases or forfeit their earnings to other Langley members. "Pay It Forward" means you want to opt-out of receiving rewards and allow other members to partake in the promotion, while the "Earn Cash Back" option means you'd like your rewards deposited in your account.
Members will earn 10% cash back on their debit card gas purchases made during the month of September, up to a maximum of $100 in rewards. If funds remain in the rewards pool after the September payout, this promotion will continue each month until the $1,000,000 reward cap is reached. During the following month(s) of this promotion, depending on the amount of rewards left, Langley will determine the percentage of cash back based on the number of opt-ins and total amount of gas purchase transactions.
Members that opt to "Pay It Forward" will not receive cash back rewards, nor can you choose who receives your rewards. This option indicates that you forgo your earnings, allowing other members to partake in the promotion.
Cash back rewards will be distributed to saving accounts in the first week of the following month.

How to Enter: The $1 Million Gas Back Rewards promotion starts September 1, 2022 and rewards members who use their Langley debit card for gas purchases. The members will earn up to 15% cash back on their gas purchases, up to $100 per month in rewards. This promotion will continue each month until the $1,000,000 reward cap is reached.
Participation: To participate in the program, members aged 18 or older, with a Langley debit card, checking account and active email address will need to opt-in via an activation email from Langley. Members can choose from two options:
- "Pay it Forward" - This options allows members to pass their cash back rewards into a pool for members who choose “Earn Cash Back.”
- "Earn Cash Back" - Members who choose this option will be part of the pool to earn part of the $1 million cash back rewards.
Once the one option is selected the option may not be changed.
Rewards: Members will earn 10% cash back on their debit card gas purchases made during the month of September, up to a maximum of $100 in rewards. Members will earn 15% cash back on their debit card gas purchases made during the month of October, up to a maximum of $100 in rewards. If funds remain in the rewards pool after the October payout, this promotion will continue each month until the $1,000,000 reward cap is reached. During the following month(s) of this promotion, depending on the amount of rewards left, Langley will determine the percentage of cash back based on the number of opt-ins and total amount of gas purchase transactions. The percentage of cash back will then apply to each individual's gas purchases. Cash rewards of 10% are not guaranteed after the month of September, nor are cash rewards of 15% guaranteed after the month of October. Members opting in after September or October will receive rewards for the month they opted in and proceeding months until the reward cap is reached. For joint checking accounts with multiple debit cards, the cash back will apply to the total amount gas purchased from the one checking account. Qualifying gas purchases must occur within a calendar month and the cash rewards will be deposited into the member's savings account by the first week of the following month. Except for selecting one of the two opt-in options identified above and making gas purchases as described, no other action, is necessary to receive cash rewards. All debit cards connected to a Langley checking account qualify, including Spend cards and Business debit cards. Terms and conditions of the program are subject to change without notice.
