What is a Member to Member Transaction?
Member to Member transfers let Langley members move money to other Langley members-no fees, right inside Digital Banking. Great for gifting the grandkids, splitting costs with family, or paying your barber who also banks at Langley.
Transfers Made Easier
Generate a QR code or shareable link so the other member can pre-fill required details. Their member number stays hidden, reducing typos and keeping info private.
Only complete transfers with individuals you know and trust. Scammers often use member-to-member transfers as a way to quickly take money from unsuspecting victims, making this a common method in financial fraud schemes.
Know the Recipient
Send only to trusted contacts (family, friends, known service providers).
Verify Details
Confirm the recipient’s name and intended account before you send.
Protect your information
Only share your member number when making a transfer with someone you trust. Member to Member keeps your information secure.
Use Digital Banking Only
Don’t send screenshots or codes to unknown parties.

Member to Member Setup (QR Code or Link)
Using your QR code or link is a fast and secure way of establishing a member-to-member connection.

- Log in to the Langley Mobile App or Digital Banking
- Select the account you want to send the transfer from.
- Click Member-to-Member, and your unique QR code will appear on your screen.
- Share either a QR code or link with the other member and ask them to either scan the code, or access the link.
- When the other member scans or accesses your link, the Add New Account screen opens with fields pre-filled and the member number hidden.
- Ensure your recipient reviews the account nickname and account type and clicks Confirm
- Your Member to Member setup may require manual review and approval by Langley staff as a fraud prevention step. Once cleared, the linked account will appear under Member to Member Accounts and can be used for transfers.
Classic Setup (Manual Process)
Classic setup is Langley's legacy method of establishing a member-to-member connection through Digital Banking. Classic setup will require you to share your member number so be sure to only establish this connection with people you trust.

- Log in to the Langley Mobile App or Digital Banking
- Go to Transfers & Loan Payments → Member to Member Accounts → Add Account
- Enter the required fields (Recipient Last Name and Member Number–Share ID).
- Review the details and Submit.
- If you’ve set this up before for the same recipient, go to Manage to use the saved account.
- When ready to send, select the recipient, fill out the required fields, and tap Review.
- Review the information and Submit
- New connections may require manual review and approval by Langley staff as a fraud prevention step. Once cleared, the linked account will appear under Member to Member Accounts and can be used for transfers. Approval typically takes our team around 2-5 business days.
