NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — (Jan. 8, 2026) — Langley Federal Credit Union is excited to announce Jessie Stokes of Virginia Beach as the winner of its 2025 New Car Giveaway, awarding her a 2025 Honda Accord.
Stokes, a Norfolk native and Langley member since 2020, was selected after earning the maximum number of entries in the Tap, Swipe, Win promotion. A dedicated public servant, she has spent the past 12 years working for Hampton Roads Transit and is a proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to three grandchildren.
“When we told Jessie she had won, she shared that she ‘never wins anything,’ which made this moment even more special,” said Langley Vice President of Operations Tori Eleonora. “This giveaway is exactly what Langley is about — recognizing our members, celebrating their loyalty, and creating meaningful moments that positively impact their lives.”
Stokes said her family is thrilled about the win, joking that while they are excited to see the car, she doesn’t plan on letting anyone else drive it.
“I couldn’t believe it,” said Stokes. “This is such a blessing for me and my family. I’m so grateful to Langley for this opportunity.”
The 2025 New Car Giveaway was designed to reward member engagement while reinforcing Langley’s commitment to putting members first.
