Quick Balance

Langley's Quick Balance allows you to check your account balances without having to login.


To enable this feature follow the steps below: (Before following the steps below, ensure that your Langley Mobile App has been updated.)

Enable Quick Balances on iOS

  1. Go to the home screen of your iPhone/iPad
  2. Touch and hold an app or empty space until the apps start to move
  3. Tap the + in the upper left hand corner to add a new widget
  4. Locate the Langley widget
  5. Click "Add Widget"
  6. First-time users will receive a message stating, "Authentication required." Click "Log In"
  7. Once logged in, you will receive a message stating, "Widget Enrolled."
  8. Return to your home screen, and you should see the blank widget
  9. Hold down the widget and click "Edit Widget."
  10. Click "Choose" and select an account
  11. Your selection is added, and you should see the account balance
  12. To add additional account widgets, repeat steps 1-10

Enable Quick Balances on Android

  1. Go to the home screen of your Phone
  2. Touch and hold an app or empty space until the apps start to move
  3. Go to your widget settings
  4. Locate the Langley Widget
  5. Click "Add"
  6. If you are a first-time user, you will receive a message requiring you to log in. This is how you enroll for the Quick Balance Widget
  7. Return to the home screen
  8. Click "Choose Account."
  9. Select an account you wish to view.
  10. You should see the account balance
  11. To add additional account widgets, repeat steps 1-9

FAQ

How do I delete a Quick Balance Widget?
  1. Hold down the Quick Balance Widget you wish to delete
  2. Click "Remove"
What do I do if the Quick Balance Widget displays the wrong balance?

When this occurs, the wrong account has been selected. Remove the Quick Balance Widget and add the correct account widget.

How often do the balances update?

The widget will continue to display the "cached" balance until a new balance is retrieved (every 15 mins). During this time, if a balance is updated because a transaction or transfer has been issued, then the balance on the Widget will update shortly after.

If I share my device with another family member who has an account at Langley, will they have the ability to see their balances?

Widgets are authorized to a device and a specific online banking account. If a member is sharing a device with other members, then the first member who enrolls into the Quick Balance widget will see their balance persist, even if a new member logs into the application from the same device.
